A friend passed me some dvds he made of the new Doctor Who season that just completed in the UK on BBC. His rellies send him VHS tapes in PAL and he converts them over for me. I've seen episodes 1 and 2 now, and it's fantastic! Russell T. Davies of Queer as Folk is writing the show. He's such a nut, but he's doing a good show with the stories. I like the new Doctor, and his companion Rose is very good too. They are both very modern and good for our times, and compliment each other well.
But it's clear a lot has happened to the Doctor and Gallifrey since I watched the show in the 80s. I'm kind of lost, but that's ok for a show like this. My friend says he can make me dvds of the rest of the season too. Woo!
