Season 1 of Battlestar Galactica
is now over.
I loved the last 2 eps so much. This show has turned out so much better than I expected. It makes up for having lost Farscape
, and then some. Now, about the series finale...
I found it interesting that both Starbuck and Apollo acted counter to Adama for the sake of the president, and they both ended up having done the right thing. It seems that Adama is good at military tactics, but not so good at politics or the big picture.
Cylon/Human crossbreed? The next generation of God's children? The writers have done something interesting by identifying the Cylons with monotheism and humans with classical paganism. In some ways it makes the Cylons more sympathetic, or it could be seen as a commentary on the rise of monotheism in our own history.
I was fully expecting Baltar to end up on that base ship. I love it when a show can surprise me. Star Trek was never able to surprise me as well as this show does.
