Today is the best I've felt since my eye went wonky. I'm seeing about 85% with the eye, and it seems a full recovery is imminent. All those wonderdrugs that were fucking me up seem to have left my system, and I'm not forgetting things anymore. Yeah, I missed several appointments this week, just plum forgot. Oops. At least I had the excuse that scopolamine can cause amnesia, and I sure had plenty of it in my system.

I got my first post-raise paycheck today. $36/week after taxes. I guess that's not so bad, but really I could blow away $36 sneezing and not notice it.

It's a good thing I don't write about work in my journal, cause it would be pages and pages of ranting. Just use your imagination.

My mom got a job doing reiki at a salon. She's been doing reiki for a few years, and I guess she's good at it cause she now has some pretty hot-shot clients, like people you've seen in movies that you probably watched with your parents. She even does it on my sister's horses. That stuff kind of freaks me out, but it's hard to argue with results, no matter how ridiculous the source may seem. Anyway, she's been doing some reiki for me lately, and it really seems to be helping. How is it that we can think we understand the world, and yet stuff that defies understanding is so very common if you just pay attention?

Eating Out opens at the Castro Theater today, runs for a week. I want to go see it! What's the plan, lorenzosf?

As mentioned, it was no where near as bad as yours. I had a corneal ulcer in my right eye. Started when I first began wearing contacts. Had to deal with scraping with pointed sticks to get the ulcer out and then very aggressive medicating with Vigamox. They've been ok, it was added drama since I was due for my November visit.

But anyway Tally Isham herself says, "I love Ono-Sendai Simstim Decks! I wouldn't be caught dead without mine!

Hopefully the eye is nice and cleared up by my visit in April I'll be in San Francisco from April 13-19 if you need a guide Moose or anything.
