I'm back from my trip to Atlanta. It was totally whirlwind. I only set up the trip at the end of last week, flew out on Monday, and back home Wednesday afternoon so I could meet with the lawyer for our condo association lawsuit. Whew!

Flying to Atlanta was an easy flight, but I got confused about the departure time and when I double checked at 9am I found my flight left at 11:30am not 1:30pm. Yow! Good thing I was mostly ready to go, I just had to throw my junk in a bag and run catch a cab. I didn't eat much that day, and I was so tired when I got in that I was asleep by 9pm California time.

I was up early in time for a 9am meeting the next day, and had a very long day that was actually really good. I had flown out there for a meeting to resolve some design/archtecture issues, and after letting everyone else say their piece I pointed out that what everyone thought was an issue wasn't one at all and suggested a solution and everyone thought it was good so that's what we're doing. The rest of my day was meetings with various people I don't see much cause we're in different time zones. For dinner I went with co-workers to Fat Matt's Rib Shack, my favorite joint in Atlanta. Afterwards I went over to see kissthehippy and hung out with his granola friends. His neighbor had a marbled dachsund who was the cutest dog on the planet and spent the evening bouncing around the room stealing the cat's food, jumping on people's laps and trying to get in range of noses to lick.

Wednesday I slept in to 9am Atlanta time, got to a 10:30 meeting, then zipped off to the Airport for my 1:15 flight. ATL airport sucks infinite donkey lincolns with rusty braces. Flight was late boarding, late leaving the gate, then we sat on the runway for an hour - and fucking Delta never made any announcements about the delays, they just expected us to wait. At least I had 2 DVDs and 2 batteries for my PowerBook, so I was entertained. I got home, met with the lawyer and found out how much owning a condo sucks, then watched the 2nd half of the new Farscape on TiVo (yay! Ben Browder in leather pants!) and collapsed.

Now I get to catch up on a zillion emails. Wish me luck.

Good luck.

I Hate Hartsfield with a passion. I can totally agree. Last time I was through, my USAir flight was cancelled so they rebooked us on Delta, needless to say the luggage didn't quite make that flight.
